The weather today is set to be glorious…which is great news for all at gastropub The Victoria Park, who have chosen today (Sunday, June 26th) to fire up their new outdoor pizza oven for the first time…
Pizzas will be available today from 5pm – 9.30pm, after the main kitchen closes, and tomorrow until 9.30pm alongside meals from the standard menu. All wood-fired pizzas are 12″ in size and cost £8, with garlic pizza bread priced at £4.
The pizza menu for today and Monday reads as follows…
Award-winning Trealy Farm air dried ham & roasted field mushroom with mozzarella and a tomato-based sauce
Award-winning Trealy Farm cracked black pepper salami with roasted peppers, mozzarella, Parmesan and rocket with a tomato-based sauce
Spinach, ricotta cheese and Parmesan with a cracked egg and a tomato-based sauce
Roasted peppers, courgettes and artichoke with mozzarella, Parmesan and a tomato-based sauce
The pub will also be serving two salads alongside their pizzas: rocket & Parmesan (£4) and a Greek salad (£6), both dressed with extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice. And if you fancy adding a little extra to your pizza, you’ll be able to sample their homemade fiery chilli oil, herb-infused oil or garlic oil as well.
A great way to enjoy the sunshine in the fantastic garden at The Victoria Park this evening – head on over if you have nothing else planned!
