Dinner with a difference at Saltford’s Bistro 507 next month: join owners Tom and James for a murder mystery night at 7.30pm on the evening of Friday, May 13th, with the ticket price including a three course meal…

Voted Top Bath Restaurant in Venue’s 2010 Top Banana Awards, Bistro 507’s aim is simple: “to turn locally sourced produce into quality meals at an honest price whilst you receive service that is second to none.” The restaurant also specialises in being Coeliac-friendly, offering a wide choice of meals for diners with difficult dietary requirements.

Sample menus on the bistro’s website highlight the types of dishes you can expect: starters of twice baked cheese souffle with balsamic dressing or roasted butternut squash and thyme soup, for example, and mains of oven baked salmon fillet with a white wine and lemon cream or pan roasted duck with an apple and rosemary glaze.

Tickets for the murder mystery evening are just £40 per head, which includes a three course meal. Details are as follows…

Calling all sleuths out there…why not enjoy a quality three course meal during an evening full of fun and laughter and aim to be the next Sherlock Holmes or Miss Marple by solving a 1960’s themed murder mystery.

Two actors play a bumbling policeman and top MI5 agent will tell you about the clues already known, advise you of possible suspects and guide you through the evening so at the end of the night you can proudly say “…the murderer is…” but watch out for the red herrings!

The evening is based on a proven format that we have run several times now, very interactive with other would-be Poirots, James Bonds and Columbos that will also be looking to be crowned top detectives, so play alone, in couples or in terms – it’s up to you.

To buy your ticket, contact Bistro 507 via one of the methods listed on their website’s contact page…and go and say hello to them on Twitter!
