It’s going to be a busy weekend for food. Not only do we have the Organic Food Festival on the 11th and 12th, but Clifton will also be welcoming another new deli to its fold.

Family-owned Munch Deli is a name already known in nearby Weston, but owners Stefan and Sharon Carlin are going back to their roots and opening a second deli in Clifton, where they lived for 10 years.

They have taken over what used to be Carwardine’s, off the top of Park Street, to sell a range of locally sourced food including coffee, cake, sandwiches, ciabatta and a range of store cupboard essentials. The deli shop will also offer a selection of hampers, and also plans to offer outside catering.

After a private launch on Friday 10th, the deli will be open to the public on Saturday, September 11th, with opening hours of 7.30am – 7pm Monday to Saturday, and 10am – 4pm on Sundays.

It’s also worth picking up a copy of Clifton Life magazine if you’re a fan of freebies, as there are details in the August issue of how to claim a free drink from Munch… 🙂
