Dachshund Café and Pug Café come to Bristol

Last summer, the Pug Café popped up at Bambalan. This year, you’ll find both a Dachshund Café and a Pug Café at The Florist on the weekend of March 16th and 17th.

Set to be the first of its kind in the West Country, the Dachshund Café will be at The Florist on Park Street on Saturday, March 16th. Whether you’re a dachshund owner or just a dachshund lover, it’s a chance to meet and enjoy cuddles with lots of sausage dogs, while enjoying a tasty meal or drink (see our review of The Florist here).

There’s a complimentary pupuccino for every dog – and some doggy treats for everyone who’s there without a dog, to help them to make friends. The dogs also have their own gourmet menu to choose from, including slices of pupcake, peanut butter sprinkle doughnuts, handmade cookies and gourmet pupcorn, along with puptinis, Aperol sniffs, paw star martinis and more. There will be professional photos taken on the day, which will be available to view online and save to your device free of charge after the event.

Prefer pugs? Then make your way up there on the Sunday instead, when The Florist will be bringing their popular Pug Café to Bristol.

Please note that these are ticketed events, and you’ll need to book your place in advance. Tickets are now on sale for the Dachshund Event, with tickets for the Pug event going on sale at 11am on Sunday, February 24th. You’ll find all the booking details on the website.

Tickets are priced at £7 for dachshund/pug owners, and £12 for dachshund/pug lovers. Those aged 16 and under receive a 20% discount, while children under 6 and all dachshunds/pugs are free. The fee covers your entry and your pupuccino/bag of treats – note that any food/drink you order while there will need to be paid for separately. Your booking will be for a 70-minute time slot, with a choice of 9am, 10.10am, 11.20am, 12.30pm, 1.40pm, 2.50pm or 4pm.
